1/16 C&L Final

Sorry for yet another delay! Last week went well! In training we took our Crimson and Lace and gah! All we have is the C&L vs. Carousel final. Since I finished early my friends and I went down and watched part of Preciosnette's two hour ride in their new costumes since we won't required to attend it. They were so pretty! They have a dark pink magenta western dress shirt with black fringe on the back and front, black jeans, and beige chaps with black hearts and their black Sweetheart flags.We had a walkthrough but due to the missing girls we had a lecture on bits and control in the Conference room which was helpful. I stretched Hoover an hour before the ride and he's so much smoother and less stiff. He's pretty stiff on his right so I'm working on it. We were missing of few girls because of sales and Pat was also missing so we just had Steve and Gretchen so we rode all Kaleidoscope which I hadn't rode team on in forever! I was a point for the first drill and I was all alone in my GPA besides my CO. During circle he stumbled a little going into his right lead. Then I was 1-2 and AM. Overall a good day.

Stock Show Sales 1/15

So I got to miss school for program sales! Whee! I sold about 15 programs and our group sold way more than last year. I wore tennis shoes this time so it hurt a lot less than last year lol.

Past Three Weeks

I've been busy! So the last few weeks have been good. In training, we've finished up Crimson and Lace which was about 100 diagrams. I got 108% on quiz 1 and 2, so yay! Hoover has been doing better after I started stretching him and picking his hooves before the ride. Although he did trip last week in the same corner and nearly fall so there was a halt ho. :( In Crimson we've been riding two C&L and one Kaleidoscope. I've been riding 3-3 and pint pretty conistently, but last week I had thre team in row of 3-2, 3-3. and 4-3. I also rode CO1 which was interesting because it was only my second time riding CO. I haven't been able to go to batons at 11 because of Crimson's walkthroughs
